None of us mortal gods ever thought we would find our risers, our celestial mates, the goddesses walking in mortal form who will help us achieve our ultimate power, which for me wasn't much of an enticement since I'm the most powerful being in existence, or so I thought. When I find my riser, beaten, broken and hidden deep in the protection of her goddess, I'm almost afraid to follow. Me. Olodumare Babatunde, Supreme God, manifestation of the supreme creator and bestower of knowledge, virtue, and morality, is afraid to follow this woman to where she has hidden herself away. Still, I'm determined to keep her safe from those who would harm her again. Even though my god has checked out on me, leaving me feeling more like a man than I have in a long time, which may be what I need to fight an enemy I never saw coming.
