      Cheery, multi-patterned elephant Chloe Zoe starts preschool and kindergarten in these very similar first-day-of-school primers. Chloe Zoe's first-person voice isn't believably childlike ("I am surrounded by old and new friends!"), and the books' didactic lessons (though useful) are more skillfully delivered in other starting-school picture books.
