Border Control and the Wall

The US-Mexico border has become a flashpoint in the prolonged and polarized debate over illegal immigration and border security. President Donald Trump wants to erect a wall. Lawmakers have rejected that idea and have offered other ideas for securing the border. US authorities have tried a variety of tactics to keep people from reaching US soil. Many of these tactics have been challenged in the courts. Amidst this disarray, people continue to come and solutions seem as distant as ever.
